Jorge Villalobos
CEO (Co-founder)
Cofounder of Xmedian in San Francisco, CA in the late ‘90s, Jorge led this said web design and e-commerce solutions company located in the west coast of Mexico, capturing the market in the area as his company kept growing while others close down. He moved on to success again co-founding one of the leading Digital Design Universities in Latin America. In 2003 he became dean of his University during its first years, taking it to a top position in the market. Among the participants from the Ministry of Economy summons on 2005, Mr Villalobos presented a project for “Technology With High Growing Potential”, which was awarded first prize in Mexico. His trajectory has been highlighted and he has gained recognition due to his appearance in several national as well as foreign publications, some examples of these are “Expansión” magazine, “Mundo Ejecutivo”(Executive World) magazine, “Líderes Mexicanos”(Mexican Leaders) magazine, “Mural” newspaper, “Público” newspaper.
Ernesto Sanchez
Co-founder
CEO of Jabil Latin America, Mr. Sanchez has provided continuous support for the development of design hardware and other computer peripherals. Ernesto Sanchez was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal on March 5th, 2004.
Alberto Zamora
Production and Art Director
Alberto Zamora has spent 14 years in the development of 3D animations for TV, Film and Multimedia. Mr. Zamora’s knowledge of techniques includes hi-poly and low-poly modeling, rotoscopy, special video effects, hi-end video composition for film and problem solving.
Mr. Zamora has additional experience using the following programs: 3D Studio Max , Maya, Motion Builder, Endorphin, Combustion, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Director, Flash, Mental Ray, Vray, Final Render, Brazil, Virtools …among others.
Colin Brandy
Advisor
Colin Brady is the Animation Director at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM). He formerly worked at Pixar and Rhythm and Hues. At ILM, he has supervised the work on the 20th Anniversary of E.T. and The Hulk; he was also the animator and co-director at Pixar for Toy Story 1 & 2. Mr. Brady gave 3dmx his demo reel not only for teaching purposes, but also for investment support. He also helped with the initial draft for the study program at 3dmx Digital Design University.
Dr. Simon Goldbard
CSO (Chief Science Officer)
Dr. Simon Goldbard is a serial scientific entrepreneur with inventions that have formed the basis of several U.S. companies spanning technologies from genomics and nucleic acid hybridization, to tissue culture, oncology and drug discovery. Dr. Goldbard has more than 20 years of experience forming, and successfully managing, large interdisciplinary research and product development programs in the biotech industry.
Troy Hunt
Sales and Marketing
Troy Hunt provides sales and account management services for high-tech companies in Silicon Valley. He has a technical background having worked for well know industry leading companies such as Applied Materials and Obsidian Technology. He has been trained in account and technical management at San Jose State University’s Professional Development Center. With the help of his background, he has provided leadership and management in the fields of both sales and operations and is highly capable of delivering faced with high expectations and tight deadlines. During his early career he was a key member of the technical team that developed breakthrough technology in the field of CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization). He has also written and helped develop marketing and educational multimedia productions for the technology companies he works for.
Mercedes Zertuche Coindreau
Project Manager
Since 2005, Mercedes has helped increase the number of 3dmx clients. She has managed some of the most important accounts 3dmx has secured, including: Roche, Novartis, Salinas Group, Divine Productions, and Optimedica among others. With experience working in both the U.S. and Mexico, and knowledge of the different demands and methods of negotiation, she has become an important link between the clients and our production team.
Noah Rasheta
Project Manager Noah has been working with 3dmx on different productions for over seven years now. He has brought knowledge from his experience working at Excel Entertainment (a film production company) where he was in charge of making project selections. He has an amazing ability to recognize a winning original script, and to find the necessary investment for its execution and marketing.
Carlos Flores
Project Manager
With experience in the electronics industry, Mr. Flores worked for Delphi Packard Electric sites for several years, managing projects in the areas he worked in, such as Process Analysis, Quality Control, Production Control and Supply Management at the Delphi Technical Centrals Procurement Department, which covers material flow directed to all the plants in Mexico West Operations. Now a member of the 3dmx team, he works as Project Manager for numerous complex projects.
Alvaro Buendia
Advisor
One of our artistic advisors, with a strong sense of know how and a good grasp of graphics software. Mr Buendia has earned himself the opportunity to work as creature/character modeler for several videogame projects and for companies such as the world renowned Blizzard Entertainment software developer, where he currently works developing cinematic sequences, the latest being Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft. His capacity to conceptualize our customers’ vision is a great help to our team.
3dmx has expanded to become a team of twenty-five full time staff members offering skills in concept design, modeling, character animation, environment creation, compositing and digital cinematography.
